Seller payments
$30M+ weekly
Cross-border payments
$3M–$5M weekly
Context
Lazada was scaling its marketplace across Southeast Asia and needed stronger seller systems, payment processes, integrations, and regional operating standards.
What I did
I rolled out Seller Center in Thailand, managed platform operations across markets, automated seller payments and reconciliation, built the Seller Center API framework, and led integrations with financial and eCommerce partners.
This was my earliest experience of turning complex operational processes into software-enabled systems: translating seller, finance, tax, payment, and marketplace requirements into platforms and integrations that could operate across multiple markets.
Impact
- Supported more than $30 million in weekly seller payments.
- Automated $3–5 million in weekly cross-border vendor payments through Payoneer.
- Built infrastructure supporting regional and global brand partnerships.
- Integrated SAP to strengthen financial reporting and tax compliance.
What this demonstrates
The foundation of my current operating approach: understand the real workflow, identify what can be standardised, and build systems that allow complexity to scale.
